Introduce a company. Earn 10% of our offer to its owner.
We buy company work records, de-identify them and license them for AI training. Know owners of US companies with years of email, chat, CRM or project records? Introduce them to us. You earn up to $100K a deal, paid when the owner is paid.
The fee
- 10% of our offer to the owner, up to $100K a deal.
- Every owner gets two fixed offers from us: paid on sale, and a smaller cash offer. Your fee is 10% of the paid-on-sale offer, whichever one the owner takes.
- Paid when the owner is paid.
- Your fee is paid in step with the owner's payments, including the holdback release and any renewal payment.
- 12 months of credit.
- A company is credited to you for 12 months from the day we confirm your introduction. Any deal it signs with us in that time, and any renewal of that deal, earns your fee.
- Returned if the owner's payment is refunded.
- If an owner's payment is refunded or recovered from the holdback, the matching part of your fee is returned.

Who makes a good scout
- IT firms that run email, files and systems for small businesses
- Accountants and fractional CFOs
- Business brokers
- Firms that help companies wind down or sell
- Industry consultants
- Anyone who knows company owners
The rules every scout follows
- Tell the owner we pay you.
- Every owner you introduce knows that we pay you a fee. Paid advisers to the company, such as its accountant, IT firm or broker, tell the owner in writing before it signs.
- Do not name or guess at buyers.
- You do not know who buys, and you never say.
- Promise nothing.
- Never promise an owner a price, a sale or a timeline.
- Never touch the data.
- One exception: an IT firm may run a client's export as the owner's contractor, on the owner's written instruction. The export goes straight to the deal's private storage, the IT firm keeps no copy, and an officer of the company signs off.
- Follow email law.
- If you email owners, follow CAN-SPAM: say who you are, never use a misleading subject line, and honor every opt-out.
- Do not go around us.
- For 12 months, deals with the companies you introduced run through us.
- Accountants and tax preparers.
- Never use client tax return information to find or approach a company, and follow your state's rules on referral fees.
- Who cannot be a scout.
- Owners, officers and staff of a company cannot earn the fee for that company. Bankruptcy trustees, receivers, assignees and liquidators acting for an estate deal with us as sellers and are never paid as scouts.
Before your first payout
- A W-9 if you are in the US, or a W-8BEN if you are not.
- A sanctions check.
- We pay by bank transfer, or by international transfer if you are outside the US.

Questions
Do I have to be in the US?
No. The companies you introduce must be US companies. Scouts outside the US send a W-8BEN instead of a W-9.
Does the owner know you pay me?
Yes. You tell every owner you introduce, and the owner's agreement with us records it.
What if the deal never closes?
Then there is no fee. You are paid only when the owner is paid.
Can I introduce my own employer?
No. Owners, officers and staff of a company cannot earn the fee for that company.
