US federal contract actions with winners, competition and modifications

Summary

Contract actions from the public US federal procurement record, drawn from the FPDS feeds, USAspending transaction files and DLA award records and joined by transaction key into one row per action: base awards, task and delivery orders and every later modification. Each action carries amount obligated, total potential value, awardee, awarding office, NAICS and product codes, set-aside, extent competed and number of offers, and actions deleted at source stay in, flagged. About 5.7M actions are held today, 94% of them signed in fiscal 2019 or later, out of roughly 110M in the full record, and the set grows daily. Useful for forecasting award outcomes, reading competition by market and office, and tracing a contract through its modifications.
